As August ends and September is approaching, the Wummer is also reaching coming to a close. The end of summer blues are common, especially among the average teen. Here are a few thoughts all teens seem to have as Summer turns into fall.

1. Whyyyyyy?!?!

Why must the summer end? Why must I go back to school? Why!?!?!!?

2. That went by way too quick.

It seems like summer goes by quicker and quicker every year. By the time it starts it seems like it's over.

3. I guess I'll have better luck with that summer beach bod next year..

I was supposed to start working on my beach bod before summer even started, but now it's over and I look worse. Oh, well there's always next year.

4. I'm not ready to go back to school.

I am so not ready to use my brain. Not ready for school work. Not ready for any of it.

5. Not ready to wake up early either.

I haven't woke up at the crack of dawn in three months and I am not looking forward to doing it again.

6. Here comes the stress.

Deadlines. Essays. Exams. Papers. I am not looking forward to the stress that comes along with school.

7. Goodbye money. Hello books I'll barely ever use.

My bank account is already looking low due to summer spending. I won't be surprised if it dwindles into the negatives when I have to spend over eight hundred dollars on books.

8. I better get cracking on that Summer bucket list.

No matter how early in the summer I start creating my bucket list, it never seems like I have enough time to complete everything.

9. I wish I got tanner.

I pictured myself a nice sun kissed, golden color by the end of the summer. I'm still resembling a ghost.

10.Bring on the end of Summer sales!

I may not be looking forward to going back to school, but I'll take back to school sales as an excuse to shop any day.

11. I guess I'm ready for fall.

Boots, apple cider, hot cocoa, leaves, sweatshirts, smores, fires, Halloween. I guess I'm okay with that.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

school

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
