11 Thoughts We All Had When We Heard About Shemar Moore's Departure From Criminal Minds

Last Wednesday "Criminal Minds" fans were heartbroken by the news of well-loved Shemar Moore's (also known as Derek Morgan) decision to pack his bags and leave the cast for new adventures. There have been a million thoughts running through the minds of avid fans, here are 11 of them.

1. Why! How can the show’s most beautiful, courageous, and sweet BAU Agent leave?

2. Will the show ever be the same again? How are we supposed to continue watching this great show without the comedic love between Morgan and Penelope?

3. Is Reid going to be okay without Derek around? As his honorary big brother, Morgan has always been there to help Reid with all of the difficult situations in his life.

4. Are the producers going to try to replace him? That is 100 percent impossible and would be pretty upsetting.

5. Why would he even want to leave Criminal Minds? He is an amazing actor and the show is doing so well.

6. I wonder if Moore will ever come back and guest star? He has been on the show so long it’s almost impossible to have a case on the show that doesn’t bring him up at some point.

7. I guess I am partially happy that they did not kill his character off, because at least now there’s a chance that he might come back, unlike other shows like Grey’s Anatomy where characters are killed off constantly.

8. Now that Derek, Penelope’s love, is gone will she find someone new to love?

9. Maybe Moore will get tired of living a normal life and come back to the show … hopefully ...

10. I wonder if the ratings will drop now that Derek is gone and there is a new "Criminal Minds" series, "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders."

11. I guess it makes sense that Shemar wants to take a break to start a family and have his own life, I suppose I still love him.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
