12 Thoughts About Spring Break

Sun, alcohol and friends - What more can you ask for?

12 Thoughts About Spring Break

Spring break falls at the perfect time. Right in the middle of the end of winter break and (unfortunate) end to the school year. Whether you're going to PVB, PCB or Fort Laudy it's going to be a dehydrated and hectic vacation with friends. Here are some thoughts before and during spring break.

1. Holy Christ spring break is in a week. I need to start being fit ASAP.

Drunk eats Cane's that same night

2. Wait, where is my money?

I need to buy alcohol still.

3. Needing new and fun bathing suits. Because that's the only thing you'll actually be wearing for the next week.

You're welcome for this fabulous .gif of me.

4. Whether driving or flying, you and your friends are on another level (and most likely already getting lit somehow).

5. You arrive and the only thought is.

6. You've been on the beach for approximately two hours and the pictures have started. You may or may not have stolen someones flag to be pictured with.

*Tries to be candid.* *Tries not to look too drunk.*

7. As the shots are filling, your soul dancing is the only thing on your mind.

Unrealistically, you think you will look like this.

8. The next thing on your mind is.

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, more (never floor).

9. Trying to meet new people (aka hot people of the opposite sex).

10. Trying to help your best friend pull herself together as you're trying to pull yourself together.

11. Waking up to a blur of images from the day before only to realize you were a crazy animal for the past 24 hours.

12. You're still drunk and start the day with more alcohol, obviously.

Long live spring break and the 'A plus' choices that were made!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
