Fellow naturalistas unite! Natural hair is something magical. Our hair reaches out in all directions, full of kinks and coils, from 3B curls, to 4C kinks and coils, everyone's hair is amazing. But let me tell you one thing: not everyone did the big chop...some of us, took the long, winding, bumpy, pothole filled road named transitioning. And it was one heck of a ride.
1. The first inch of new growth being a blessing, and a curse
2. Not wanting to give your new growth heat damage, but also wanting your hair to look nice
3. Trying to not sweat because the attack of the new growth will happen
4. Swimming in chlorine pools = super dry hair
5. Trying to find products that work for your new growth, and also your chemical treated hair
6. Wanting to retain length, but having the need to do the big chop
7. Trying to attempt new protective styles, and them not coming out how they look in the tutorial
8. Always looking for new ways to get your hair to grow faster
9. Finally getting the courage to do the big chop
10. Seeing the first piece of hair fall, and realizing that there's no going back
11. Finally feeling free, after cutting off all the chemical treated, unhealthy hair
