Definition of a dog: (noun) The absolute best friend you will ever have.

A loving companion who will always care for you more than himself. Their days kept in your heart will be far outnumbered by the days they live on earth.

Isn't it incredible how a creature that can't even speak our language or do the things we do, means the world to us? They come into our lives and teach us love, and not a single dog can be replaced. Animals, in general, are just amazing, but let's face it, dogs just have a way of stealing our hearts and here are 12 things you do as a dog lover.

1. If your camera roll is constantly filled with pictures of your dog.

I mean, how can we not? They just do the weirdest and cutest things you want to capture every moment! You talk about your dog the way other people talk about their kid. Why not brag about how many balls or Frisbee your dog caught today?Your ideal weekend night is cuddling up with your dogs and watching some movies. Bring out the popcorn, and even play catch during preview

2. You leave the last little bit of food on your plate so your dog can always have some.

Let's be honest, we'd rather go grab a snack then not spoil our dog with some tasty treats.

3. You probably spend more money on your dog than yourself.

Going to the store means 2 things for you and 10 things for your dog. You just can't resist that new chew toy you know they'll die over.

4. You let them kiss you even after all the "things" they've done.

Yep, we all know dogs lick just about anything they look at, probably not very sanitary, but those doggy kisses are irreplaceable!

5. You force yourself to get up and go on walks because you know how much your dog loves them.

Some days we just really need to be lazy, but with a dog, that's highly unlikely.

6. Your dog is secretly a therapist.

Most of the time they are more funny, loving, and always there more than any human ever is. Sure they make messes and destroy everything with their hair, but those are minor flaws

7. You're willing to let go of nice things in order to have a dog.

That nice pair of tennis shoes is way cooler than any of the 15000 toys you buy them, and remember not to splurge on furniture they become toys too.

8.You're not ashamed to say your dog is your best friend.

They get you, they know when you're sad or scared without you even saying anything, all they ever want in return is your attention. Could you find a better best friend?

9.You're always wanting more dogs.

There's hundreds of different breeds, colors, sizes, and you want one of each! It is next to impossible to resist those precious dog eyes. Forget the crazy cat lady, you're a crazy dog person!

10. You definitely get the urge to report to authorities if you see a dog being treated poorly.

That one dog down the street that's chained up outside all day every day, or a dog that's constantly barking because he's so hungry? Yes, it's infuriating, and you just want to scream at whoever is treating one of world's most amazing creatures like a block of wood.

11. Your dog IS family to you.

Rather you raised them from the ground up or saved them from the pound, you consider your dog family. Slap one of those little dog figures on the back of your car window, because no matter what your home is their home.

Dogs. Are. Awesome!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
