11 Things We Should Thank Our Dogs For
Jessica Leonardis

To every dog out there, this article is dedicated to you. It's the least we can do since you have dedicated so much of your lives to us already. If only us humans could follow your paw prints, the world would be a better place. With that being said, we have a lot to thank our fuzzy friends for.

1. Thank you for your loyalty.

For all you humans out there, remember this and take this into consideration please.

2. Thank you for being my best friend.

3. Thank you for always being down to snuggle and cuddle.

Who needs a significant other when you always have your dog to watch Netflix and chill with?

4. Thank you for eating the leftovers on my plate when I was too full or was not the biggest fan of that meal.

5. Thank you for always being so excited to see me when I got home, even if I went to the store to run a quick errand or if it was a bit longer.

You always know how to make me smile and feel so welcomed.

6. Thank you for always staying up late to make sure I got home okay.

I could always count on you being there when I opened the door and see you running down the steps to greet me.

7. Thank you for always being down to go on adventures with me.

Even if you weren't up for it, you'd still suck it up and go to please me, even though you know I love you no matter what.

8. Thank you for always being there for me.

You just knew when something was wrong and I thank you for being there for me when that happened.

9. Thank you for always being so happy.

The level of happiness that you bring into my life is incredible and can't ever be replaced. I don't think I have ever seen you not smiling now that I think about it.

10. Thank you for the unconditional love you provide.

If only humans could learn something from this.

11. And most importantly, thank you for growing up with me.

To our fuzzy friends, thank you for everything you have done for us. You provide our lives with incredible and ever-lasting memories. You should be given awards for all you do for us, but I guess treats, hugs, and kisses will work out just fine for now. If you do not have a dog, hopefully this article influenced you to go adopt one because honestly, your life is not complete without them. Oh and one more thing, if you're that owner that dropped their dog off in the middle of nowhere and left them there, I hope you go f*** yourself. Anyway, go adopt a dog today! There are so many dogs that are looking for homes and I promise you, it will be the best decision you have ever made.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
