Well, the semester is finally over. If you’re like me, you have a ton of extra quizzes, tests, and articles that you read for class (*wink, wink*). If you are wondering what to do with all of them, look no further than this list of 11 things you can do with your old papers.

1. Recycle

Although you were not directly responsible for all the trees being killed for your exams, this is a great way to give back and prevent more trees from being killed in the future. It will probably make you feel better than some of those exam and quiz grades made you feel.

2. Paper airplane wars

Grab some friends, make as many paper airplanes as possible, and have an epic paper airplane battle. Choose an open space or somewhere where you have obstacles to hide behind. When you’ve been hit, you’re out.

3. Paper snowball wars

Are your paper airplane making skills a little lacking? Just crumple up the paper into balls and have a paper snowball fight. You could also have a dunking contest. Totally your call.

4. Christmas in June/July

Can’t wait for the snow? Take all of those old tests and quizzes and make paper snowflakes. You can hang them from the ceiling or tape them to your windows. If you are really missing shoveling, you could throw them all over your driveway and shovel them all away.

5. Pretend to be "The Newsies"

Anyone that has seen the movie "The Newsies" has always dreamed of reenacting the infamous paper destruction scene. If you haven’t seen it, this clip will give you the inspiration.

6. Learn origami

Looking to pick up a new hobby? Make a little Yoda to put on your desk or some flowers for special occasions. There are tons of different things to make.

7. Buy a Spirograph

WARNING: These are addicting. There are so many different designs that you can make and so many different colors that you can use. If this doesn’t make you feel nostalgic, nothing else will.

8. Wrap a present

If you are still living on that college budget, have no fear. You can use all of those old tests and quizzes to wrap your next present. Just maybe cross out the grades that you got.

9. Shredder

Enough said.

10. Color a picture

Relive your childhood and color a picture. You could use crayons, markers, colored pencils, or a combination of all three. You’re an adult now; you can do what you want.

11. Burn baby burn!

Need an excuse to roast s’mores now that the weather is nice? Test and quiz papers are great fire starters, and they are so fun to burn!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
