While it is nice to be home for the summer, there comes a time when most college students are just ready to go back. I have recently hit that point not because I am bored at home, but because I am just so excited for my year to come! These are some things that I have been doing to pass the time.
1. Pick out new things for your dorm
2. Step up your college wardrobe
3. Send care packages to your BFF
4. Group text
5. Talk to other people about how you can't wait to go back
6. Look through pictures on your phone from the previous year
7. Add a bunch of friends on Facebook that you met at school but never got around to adding on social media
8. Rearranging your class schedule over and over
9. Recreating your favorite dining hall foods
10. Going to work with some hope of finding a distraction
11. Texting incoming freshman while they're at orientation
To all my fellow college students: we can do it! Just one month to go until we are all back in our happy place.
