Take a trip to Chicago’s own Navy Pier. Full of attractions and marketplaces, Navy Pier is home to a brand-new Ferris Wheel with your name on it!

2. Adler Planetarium

Why not visit America’s first planetarium and take a leap through space. The Adler Planetarium is great for day-time fun and is recommended for romantic star gazing.

3. Museums

Chicago has a plethora of museums that can fill your days with history dating back to the beginning of time, art that will blow your mind and other fun attractions for all ages. Keep an eye out for free admission!

4. Taste of Chicago

Join the rest of Chicago for the food festival of the summer, including live music and fun activities for the family. Taste of Chicago provides an array of food choices that stretch all nationalities that you can’t miss.

5. Music festivals

Chicago is well known for their crazy music festivals, including Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, Lake Shake and many more. You are bound to find something to enjoy.

6. Wrigley Field / Guaranteed Rate Stadium

What better way to spend the day than at the ballpark, eating a hot dog and watching two of the greatest baseball teams in America? Head on down to see reigning World Series champions Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field or head on down to Guaranteed Rate Stadium to catch the up-and-coming Chicago White Sox.

7. Chicago Riverwalk

Nothing screams romance like walking down the Chicago Riverwalk at dusk or chilling out with the family during the day on the side of river.

Full of attractions such as the famous Bean sculpture, the outdoor Pavilion and Park Grill, Millennium Park is a tourist’s dream.

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
