Being the oldest kid wasn't easy, like spending hours trying to get your younger siblings to do things for you or getting blamed for everything that went wrong while your parents weren't looking. If you're the oldest in your family, then you can definitely relate to these eleven things.

1. You're supposed to be "the example" for your younger siblings.

The oldest siblings of the world are simultaneously rolling their eyes at this statement. This is the age-old phrase that every older kid has heard at least once if not 15 million times.

2. You're always gonna be the boss.

Whether it was playing "school" with your siblings or just hanging out with them, you were always the "teacher" and you just naturally get to call all the shots.

3. Making your younger siblings do things for you.

Making your brother or sister come to your room just to shut your door or turn your light off so you don't have to get up from bed, making them ask your parents the questions you didn't want to ask, etc. The list could go on forever.

4. Your parents probably forced you to let your younger siblings hang out with you and your friends.

If you went anywhere or did anything, your parents always made you take your younger sibling along or ask them if they want to go.

5. Your parents were always ten times more strict on you than on your siblings

I could never eat food in the living room, but by the time my siblings were old enough to ask, my parents just gave in and didn't care anymore. I feel the love, parentals.

6. And you also had ten times the responsibilities than they did.

Your chore chart was probably way longer than your younger siblings because they were "too little" to do chores.

7.Once you hit 16, you were expected to take your siblings everywhere.

From sporting events to school, when you got your license you became your siblings' chauffer.

8. Getting to stay up an extra 15 minutes later than your siblings was the best feeling in the world

Looking forward to your siblings' bedtime, because you got the TV all to yourself for 15 minutes, and it was the greatest feeling in the world.

9. And you always rubbed it in their face.

Of course you did.

10. You were your parent's "built-in-babysitter."

Anytime your parents had to go anywhere, you were stuck at home watching your siblings because it was your "responsibility."

11. But in the end, you wouldn't trade your younger siblings for the world.

Being the oldest sibling means you are probably extremely protective of your siblings and you're the only person allowed to make fun of them.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
