11 Things That Make Me Laugh Until My Stomach Hurts

If it looks like I've been crying, don't worry. I probably just found a really good reaction meme and couldn't control myself.

I LIVE to laugh. It is my most favorite thing in the world to do. Laughing brings me the most genuine kind of happiness I have ever known, so I try to do it as much as possible. I want to laugh everywhere with everyone, and laugh as hard as I possibly can. Not only do I take every opportunity I can to laugh, I seek them out. Vine was my primary source of entertainment in its prime, and I am well-versed in meme culture. Pretty much everything makes me laugh, but here are 10 things that I've found make me laugh the hardest.

1. When really sweet, innocent people say something you would never expect

Like when your quiet intellectual friend roasts someone so savagely you can feel the burns from across the room, or when the adorable little cinnamon roll down the hall says "Yea, being short puts me at a great hug height. Except when it's with tall guys because then it's just balls."

2. Religious memes

I may be a terrible person for laughing at memes relating to the Holy Book, but they're innocent most of the time and there's just something about a reaction meme paired with a parable from the Bible that gets me rolling every time.

3. When my mom does mom things

Including, but not limited to: waving at people she doesn't know because she thought it was someone she did know, "messing something up" on the computer and having no clue what she did, trying and failing to hide the fact that she's crying about sentimental stuff, and doing iconic mom dances. She is literally the sweetest thing on this planet and makes me laugh on the daily with her antics.

4. Melissa McCarthy

I don't even have words to describe how funny this woman is. Literally anything she's in is pure comedic gold.

5. The "iridocyclitis" vines

For those of you who don't know about this gem (and I HIGHLY recommend you watch it here), this is what happens when a kid in the national spelling bee gets asked to spell a funny word like "iridocyclitis" and the internet gets ahold of it. It was put into movie scenes, mixed into songs, basically anything you can think of. If you pass me walking and see me laughing at nothing, I am probably thinking about this.

6. When my roommate yells at her homework like its a person

It doesn't sound like it's a person she likes either, which makes it even funnier.

7. People falling

Now I KNOW I'm a terrible person for this one, but I just can't help it. The internet is full of videos of people epically failing and falling, and the humor I find in that has translated to real life. I am decent enough to keep ahold of myself to see if they're ok, but that's about as long as I can go before I lose it.

8. When old people pull pranks

They're always so excited about it, it's the cutest little thing. It just cracks me up.

9. My friends and their crazy stories

I don't know how I was lucky enough to be friends with people who have such weird stuff happen to them, but it makes my life so much better. I always have someone around to tell me a funny story!

10. Impractical Jokers

No one should be surprised by this. It is my favorite show, and if you haven't seen it I really think you should because it is hilarious. It's literally a show about 4 best friends from high school who are now in their 40s going out in public and making a fool of themselves and each other. It is brilliance.

11. Other people laughing

Laughing is infectious. If you start laughing, I will start laughing. The harder you laugh, the harder I will laugh. Being around another person who laughs at everything is a very dangerous game for me to play.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
