If you are a "Grey's Anatomy" enthusiast like I am, you might appreciate some of these moments where it just felt like Shonda Rhimes ripped my heart directly out of my chest. Warning, if you have not watched up to the current season, there will be spoilers.

1. I guess I should start with stating the obvious...

2. Denny Duquette

Why did Shonda Rhimes feel the need to make us fall head over heels for this patient and then take him from us? As if that wasn't enough, she brings him back to haunt us as she is preparing to take Izzie away also!

3. Derek getting shot

I cried a lot, enough said.

4. Hospital shooting

When you thought it couldn't be worse, the shooter held Christina at gunpoint while she was trying to save Derek. Not only did Shonda rip my heart out with this scene, she stomped on it when Meredith told the shooter to kill her instead!

5. Izzie Stevens

Not only did we have to deal with the stress of Izzie being diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma, you made her marry Alex Karev, who got torn apart when she disappeared!

6. Karev

Karev struggles with so many different feelings throughout the show, and therefore, we struggle along with him. I hated him at the beginning of the show, however, he has grown on me and I never want to see him leave.

7. Derek being upset

I'm going to be real with you, Derek Shepherd is the love of my life and seeing him upset hits me right in the feels.

8. Christina's gone

What else is there to point out other than how she was left at the altar by Preston Burke and then left Owen when he needed her?

9. Amelia's story

Her father was shot to death when she was younger, she was a drug addict, her brother is dead... what more?

10. Owen Hunt

From his PTSD from the army to Christina leaving him, Owen will always be held near and dear to my heart.

11. George O'Malley

George was probably my favorite character and then Shonda had to take him from me in such a tragic way. My heart will forever belong to O'Malley.

Alongside these 11 reasons why Shonda Rhimes sucks sometimes, there's plenty more, you just have to keep watching the show!

April Ludgate
NBC Universal

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.

Here are some "Parks and Rec" moments that relate to life struggles that just about everyone faces.

April Ludgate

April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation is notorious for her "I don't care" attitude. She speaks her mind without caring what anyone thinks of her. Fans love her because she isn't afraid to be herself. April can seem cold and negative, but she's really just fearless and strong-minded. And despite her sometimes harsh words, April truly cares about the people she's closest to. These are all reasons she is the epitome of a college student. April complains whenever she has to do any kind of work, but ends up doing the work anyway. April Ludgate is the ultimate college student spirit animal.
