Halloween is over now, and the holiday season is starting to begin. You walk into stores like Hobby Lobby and a winter wonderland of decorations awaits you, and you start seeing all the commercials for things to buy for loved ones this holiday season. Unless you're a complete scrooge, your holiday spirit is probably starting to hit full force.
1. You are counting down the days until Thanksgiving break.
Home, relaxation, family, friends, free food. Mainly free food.
2. Post Thanksgiving. You know what's coming.
It's the most wonderful time of the year, the reason you push through the other months of the year. You feel yourself slowly transforming into the absolute Christmas maniac you are.
3. Christmas Pandora stations are now completely acceptable.
UGH SING IT MARIAH. YAS.
4. You are on the constant prowl at all local thrift stores for ugly Christmas sweater.
It's not the holiday season without your Christmas formal wear. It just isn't.
5. You feel extremely resentful to anyone who isn't getting in the spirit right along with you.
So what if December is a month away? Do you not want to soak up the loving and warm feeling of the holiday season for as long as possible?
6. You are anxiously awaiting ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas.
THIS IS WHAT WE LIVE FOR PEOPLE.
7. You can no longer concentrate in school.
The motivation is gone. You've been busting your butt all semester and you're just about running on empty. You know you just have to get through finals, but you really aren't sure if you can do it.
8. You're starting to build up your Christmas list.
You'll be lucky if you even get a quarter of what you asked for, but hey dream on.
9. You're already stressing about the post-holiday depression.
It's real, and its painful.
10. You build a special bond with the friends that love the holidays as much as you do.
No one else understands us.
11. You're already on the prowl for Christmas presents to give to people.
You gotta spread the love, or at least try to. The budgets a little tight.
Honestly, what's not to love about the holiday season? It's a time to spend quality time with loved ones, eat great food, and be joyful. I see no issue in starting this a tad early.
