We spend a lot of time with our best friends. However, we rarely thank them for the heavy influence that they have on our lives. Our best friends are everywhere, you either talk often or about anything, and are often together.
1. Staying up late with you to vent because you had a bad day.
No matter what may have happened throughout the day, no bad day can be that bad when you have your best friend by your side.
2. Making her go places or try food she would not have without you.
Whether it is a new restaurant, a new place or any other type of adventure, you know she’ll be there-even if she does not want to be.
3. Hearing your endless laughs when you guys are together.
No matter what kind of mood you guys are in, the laughs will surely come.
4. Playing along with the “You two look like sisters game.”
Even if the two of you do not look alike, people still ask if you are sisters. You probably have mastered your back story as to how you two are related, and sometimes your parents even play into it as well.
5. Being there to enjoy your proud moments with you.
Throughout life, you both will reach many different proud milestones. Between prom, graduation, and other moments for the two of you, they are always there by your side.
6. Being there to see you at your lowest--and not thinking of you any different.
By being always by your side, that means the sad moments too. She’s like a support system for you no matter what and both of you would not want it to be any other way.
7. Staying up late on the internet with each other during sleepovers.
You could be looking up new hair styles for prom for each other or planning each other’s future weddings. Either way, there is no need to sleep.
8. Being each other’s common sense when we lose our own.
Sometimes, in times of desperate need, the extra brain comes in handy.
9. Going to the mall with you in order to be your fashion consultant.
Whether you need advice, a different size or some company, she’s always there for you.
10. For getting along with my family.
I know that sometimes my family can be difficult to get along with. Thanks for sticking around even when they are around.
11. For being a part of my family.
You’re my sister and my saving grace, and a daughter to my mom. Even my family counts you as one of us.
At this point, the only thing that I can say is thank you for everything. Thank you for the support, the laughs and the memories. I would not be the person that I am today if it was not for you and I hope that you feel the same way.
