As a science major, we all have heard countless times about how crazy we are for pursuing such a difficult major. People are always asking how us how we balance everything in life while maintaining a good GPA. Truth is, we sacrifice a lot... In the name of science, of course. If you are a science major, here are 11 things you can definitely relate to:

1. When you hear a professor say a final exam is cumulative, you instantly start screaming internally.

2. You get annoyed when people in non-science majors complain.

3. Somehow every single one of your exams fall in the same week.

4. Your hobbies consist of studying... And more studying.

5. Corny science jokes make you happy... Even if you don't want to admit it.

6. You sometimes sit in class and feel like you have no idea what your professor is talking about.

7. You may or may not think about switching your major after every exam... But mostly you do.

8. You are extremely appreciative for your professor’s office hours. It's a life savor right before an exam.

9. You never skip class... Even if you are dying of sickness.

10. All assignments are mandatory. Why give up free points? Plus it's more practice.

11. You feel as if you're always missing out on the fun in life being too caught up in school

No matter how many breakdowns we may experience, how many parties we may miss, or how many doubts we may have, we all are the future of science. We choose science because that's what we love. Our lives might be a little more hectic than our friends, but that's okay. It's not easy, but it's worth it! Enjoy the fact that your major makes everyone cringe, it just proves exactly how awesome you are!!

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school.
