11 Things All Packers Fans Know To Be True

With a population falling just short of 105,000 people, Green Bay, Wisconsin is the smallest city in the nation in which a professional sports team calls home. Despite the smaller than average sized city, fans are known across the globe for the pride they take when it comes to cheering on their beloved team, the Green Bay Packers. If you're a true "Wisconsinite" or maybe even one of the brave souls who cheer on the Packers from a surrounding state, there are certain things you know to be true when it comes to rooting for the green and gold.

1. Packer apparel can be worn on a daily basis.

Kids in Wisconsin are Packer fans before they even leave the womb. It doesn't matter the season either, Packer apparel is worn year round.

2. As a result, your wardrobe is greatly composed of said apparel.

If your closet even slightly resembles the wall of jerseys at the Pro Shop, you're doing something right.

3. Lambeau Field is a magical place.

No matter the weather, the stands of Lambeau Field are sure to be packed and rowdy as we cheer our team to victory.

4. Packer parties are big a thing.

And they're actually a pretty cool thing. If you can't make it to Lambeau, you'd better break out the finger food and invite your friends and family over for a tailgate party in your own living room.

5. A Wisconsin nightmare: The grocery store on a Packer Sunday.

Unless you enjoy the risk of missing the kickoff of the Packer game, stock up on your taco dip and other necessities the night before the big game.

6. The mall (a.k.a. ghost town) during a game.

If you're not into football, hit up the mall during a Packer game. Seriously, it will be the most relaxing trip to the mall you may ever encounter and you're sure to land a great parking spot on top of it.

7. Packer Family Night is one of the greatest nights of summer.

While it may just be one huge, televised football scrimmage, fans still manage to sell out Lambeau Field and stay for the fireworks display and great time that is Packer Family Night.

8. The Pro Shop is a Packer fan's favorite store.

Whether you're gearing up for yourself or purchasing gifts, the Pro Shop has everything you could ever imagine (and more!).

9. A Wisconsin bar & grill is the place to be on game-day.

Every bar in Wisconsin looks similar to this during a Packer game, complete with fans decked out in their finest green and gold apparel (and their alcoholic beverage of choice in hand).

10. We love to yell "GO PACK GO!"

11. We're proud to call Aaron Rodgers the best quarterback of all time.

Who else would be capable of throwing the infamous "Hail Mary" passes? That's right, no one. We love you, Aaron.

Clearly, the Packers are the team in the NFL with the best fans and we will continue to demonstrate our love for America's favorite team.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it.
