11 Things You Can Only Experience At A Pro Wrestling Event

I love professional wrestling. There, I said it!. Now that may ruin some friendships, so I'll set up a number you can call to disown me later. But it's true. For almost a decade now, pro wrestling has been my passion. Whether it's WWE, ECW, TNA, or even Lucha Underground, I can't get enough of this amazing show. Now don't worry, this isn't going to be one of those articles convincing you of why you should love what I love too, that'll be later. This article is simpler than that. This is the 11 things you will only see at a pro wrestling event. The fun, ridiculous, and death defying things only professional wrestlers are willing to do. First off, I do want to say that pro wrestling is a scripted sport, so all the action you see here is performed by trained professionals no matter how crazy it looks. Now let's get started because only at a pro wrestling event will you see...

1. A referee with his own entrance moves

I guess he was just feeling those good vibrations!

2. Someone getting paid to do this...

There is no way that girl lost like that! She took a dive!

3. A handshake go so so wrong

He should've seen that coming! No one trustworthy shakes hands like that!

4. A face plant so spectacular it needs no explanation

Okay, maybe just a little explanation.

5. Whatever the hell happened here

I honestly have no words...no words.

6. Someone who hates Hulk Hogan this much...

We have all thought about it, she's just the only one brave enough to do it!

7. The real reason Hulk Hogan is famous

I know, I thought it was just that marvelous mustache too!

8. A punch so strong it takes a minute to kick in

I call it the late reaction roundhouse.

9. Milk being used as a weapon

Never has Vitamin D looked so painful.

10. A slam so momentous even the ring had to sit for a minute

What they don't tell you is that that ring needed physical therapy after this. What a sad tale.

11. Finally and easily most importantly...

Tables!

TIMBER!

Ladders!!

That's one way to stop someone from stealing!

And Chairs!

The chair fairy granted his wish that day!

Now thank you all for reading, I hope you enjoyed, and...

Have a nice day!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
