11 Things I'm Tired of Hearing
Raymond Lee

I have finally turned eighteen and am officially an adult. Although exciting, there are many responsibilities that come with being an adult, including not punching someone when they annoy you. Below are a list of 11 things you should stop doing to test me, and many others who are most likely also tired of your bullish*t.

1. "I don't like you, (or her if you're talking about me)."

And??? Please explain to me why you are sitting here talking to me (or about me) if you don't like me. Get out of my face and out of my life if you have that big of an issue.

2. "You talk about your boyfriend too much."

I'm sorry but being friends includes talking about each others lives. Mine just happens to have a significant other, while yours is lonely. Sorry:-)

3. "You wear too much makeup."

Please tell me more about how the products I put on my face cause a delay in your everyday life.

4. "Why won't you come out and party with us?"

It's Tuesday night and I have a 9am tomorrow. Why won't you come quietly study with me?

5. "You're such a neat freak."

I prefer to have my room, my backpack and my life organized a certain way. I'm sorry you can't eat on my desk without me wiping it down after, that's just how I am.

6. "You worry too much."

Please tell me how that affects you!! I worry about my grades, my social life, my relationship, because it's minor anxiety. I can't help it!

7. Literally ANYTHING about my weight.

This is my body. It doesn't affect you how much I weigh, or how many calories I have a day. If I'm confident, you shouldn't be commenting on my weight.

8. "You're too obsessed with Netflix."

Although this is true, it is not your place to point it out.

9. "Smile! You look so angry."

It's resting bitch face, in most cases that is the best smile you're gonna get.

10. "You work at a gas station? You must hate your job."

Yes I do, but thanks for the reminder.

11. "You should have come with us."

YOU DIDN'T INVITE ME!!!!

If you have caught yourself saying any of things, please stop and learn to let others do their thing, while you mind your own business!

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

legally blonde
Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
