College is the most fun time in our lives, but also the most stressful. We have to deal with living on our own for the first time, leaving our family and trying to learn how to be an adult. Fortunately, there are things that can make our lives a little easier.

Here are the things from the early 2000s that every college kid needs to make their lives a little smoother.

1. Juicy Couture sweatsuits

I have never been able to understand why these velour sweatsuits went out of style! Running late to class and don't know what to wear? Throw on a Juicy sweatsuit and a pair of Uggs, and you are good to go.

2. HitClips

Everyone likes listening to music on the way to class. It makes the time go by faster and helps us avoid people at all costs. But headphones get tangled and get in the way! So pop on a HitClip, listen to some throwback music and you will look super cool doing it.

3. Razor scooters

Running late to class and only have five minutes to get across campus? Hop on a Razor scooter and you will get wherever you need to go as fast as lightning. Just be careful about being to aggressive with the brake, you could literally make sparks.

4. Heely's

Another great form of transportation. Why don't more college kids wear these?! Heely's are versatile and they give you an option on if you either want to walk to class or ride to class.

5. Crocs

Crocs are both comfy and dependable in any type of weather. Rainy day and don't want to ruin your shoes? Crocs. Want a pair of shoes where you can change the look with different clip on decorations? Crocs.

6. Slap bracelets

Easy, fashionable and a stress reliever. Need I say more?

7. Teksta Dog

Going away to college and leaving your pet can be super hard. So get a Teksta Dog! It's just like a regular dog accept you will never have to fed it or clean up an accident.

8. Easy Bake Oven

This should be a staple in every college students dorm! No mess, no hassle and no recipe to mess up. For the kids who do not know how to cook...this will also cut down on the risk of you starting a fire.

9. Barbie Jeep

This is perfect for when you need to get across campus. They fit on the sidewalks, have a radio and a built in phone! It doesn't get much better than that.

10. Password Journal

Journaling is good for the soul and especially a stressed out college student. Keep your thoughts and feelings locked up in this journal that only opens by the sound of your voice!

11. Bop it

Stressed out and need to get your mind off of school? Play this for a few minutes, and you will become very distracted!

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
