She is the Tina Fey to your Amy Poehler, your Monica to your Rachel, and the Thelma to your Louise. The girl who sticks by you no matter what. Your ride or die, A1 since day 1, sister form another mister. Who is she? Your bestfriend. Sometimes we find that person who knows you inside out; knowing you better than you know yourself. There are certain truths about your friendship and here two best friends share eleven things only your best friend knows.

1) When you are lying.

It may be a certain tick or just the way your voice changes a little, but there is no secret you can hide from your best friend. It comes in handy too when you are trying to get out of a sticky situation (like that creepy guy that asks what you are doing tomorrow and you say work). Even though she knows it isn't true, she is always there to back you up.

2) That guy you never admitted to having a crush on.

Whether it was for .5 seconds or all throughout middle school, your best friend knows you liked the weird guy that picked his boogers and ate it during lunch. There's no hiding it or denying it.

3) Your weird habits.

You bite your nails, so what? She won't judge. Just like you don't judge her for putting cheese on every food item in sight. They are just your little quirks that make her love you even more.

4) You don't always have to fill the silence.

Most people feel the need to avoid that awkward silence moment that happens when you run out of things to say. Best friends, however, can sit beside each other without saying a word. Whether it is because your heart was just broken or you are riding in the car or eating lunch. There is no need to fill the silence just because you are content with each others presence.

5) The real reason you broke up with your boyfriend.

You tell him you need space and you're just not ready to commit at the moment. Your best friend knows its because he chews with his mouth open and said "Grey's Anatomy" was for depressed housewives.

6) What your face looks like when you cry.

Yes, it's atrocious. Your make-up runs, leaving black streaks down your face along with snot and tears. It's not a sight for just anybody. Yet, your best friend has seen it numerous times.

7) How that dent really got on your car.

Your parents think it was a careless driver. Your best friend knows it was a careless you. You tell them it was a hit and run. Your best friend knows you backed up into the lamp post. Only because she is right there with you in the passenger seat.

8) What movies gave you nightmares.

Whether it be The Conjuring or "Teletubbies," your best friend knows exactly what to put in the DVD player to get you spooked. Don't worry she is only doing it out of love.

9) The real amount you just spent shopping.

When your mom asks what happened to your paycheck you say, "gas." Your best friend knows it is because you needed six pairs of the same shirt. Also, everything was 50% off, so it's not like a big deal.

10) What you're like when you pull an all-nighter.

Let's face it: you do some pretty crazy things when you're sleep-deprived. Remember when you rapped to Lil Wayne while eating popcorn and dancing the cotton-eye-joe? Well, your best friend does. Your best friend has seen it all. Let's just hope nobody else has.

11) How long you really just spent getting ready.

When people start to wonder why you texted you would be there in 5 minutes an hour ago, you do not tell them it was because you spent the last 40 minutes trying to perfect your winged eye-liner. Instead, you tell them your mom wanted you to wash the dishes first. All the while your best friend is right there with your straightening her hair and telling you about her new crush.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
