11 Things That Need to Make a Comeback in 2017

I'm not saying they would fix all our world problems, but they could help

Some days we all want to go back to simpler times, when we were kids and didn’t have to worry about our embarrassing falls going viral. While we can’t fully go back in time, we can always bring things back from the past. Here’s a list of a few things I believe should make a comeback in 2017:

1. Pokémon GO

Remember when it was perfectly normal to meet up with strangers in parks and chase imaginary characters? Those were the days, let’s bring those relaxing, peaceful days back.

2. Crocs

Is there anything more versatile than a nice pair of Crocs? The answer is no. These waterproof, stylish rubber slippers can endure anything, including the insults of your enemies.

3. Razor Scooters

You know you instantly become jealous of whoever you see flying around on their Razor. Not only is it super sleek and small, but it’s the quickest way to get to class on any college campus.

4. The Jonas Brothers

Does this one even need an explanation? Absolutely not. The JoBros were beyond their time. And speaking of time (and the Year 3000), how can everyone buy their seventh album if they never release it? How will it ever outsell Kelly Clarkson?

5. Ned's Declassified

Why did this show have to end after middle school? I still need Ned, Cookie, and Mose’s advice even in college! Imagine all the dining hall hacks they’d have...

6. Newspapers

Can all the hipsters that were in charge of bringing record players back work on bringing newspapers back as well? We need some experienced veterans on our team.

7. Mixed CDs

The ultimate romantic gesture of the 2000s. I long for the days when people gave their crushes discs with “songs that remind me of you” scribbled on them to come back again.

8. Nintendo DS

There’s no better way to spend downtime between classes (except maybe studying) than by playing on a good ol’ Nintendo DS. Mario Kart, Nintendogs, there are too many classics to name!

9. Heely's

Heely’s are second only to Razor scooters when it comes to the most stylish and quickest way to get around campus. Bonus: Nobody knows you have them until you use them.

10. Vine

It’s only been a month or so since Vine left us, but that doesn’t make its loss any less painful. Already, demands for its return are rising. We can only hope to see the return of Vine by the end of 2017.

11. Wonder Balls

Chocolate AND candy??? Who ever let this die? Wonder balls are probably the most missed candy of the past and I am almost positive if they were to return, nobody would complain.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
