As college students, we are usually broke and lazy. We don't always have the time to study, clean or learn to cook, but that's okay. We're not completely adults yet, so we can still use shortcuts in life to achieve the same things without making too much of an effort. Utilize those shortcuts by making sure you have 11 Things College Students Can't Live Without.
1. Rate-My-Professor
If you don't use the website Rate My Professor while signing up for classes, you could end up completely screwed. The site ranks professors on difficulty, clarity and even their appearance. If it's a tough class, at least give us something attractive to look at, right? Use this tool because as college students, we're lazy, so any professor who is going to give us far too much work is not worth taking.
2. Pinterest
This website comes in handy when you have a boring professor that does not say anything worth listening to. You need something to pass the class time!
3. Procrastination
Without procrastination the world would be far too uniform and uneventful. College is a place where you seize the moment and push all of your school work to the last moment. Just remember to procrastinate efficiently!
4. Coffee
This is a college student essential due to the fact that after all of that procrastinating, you are more than likely to have to pull an all-nighter to finish your work. Whether you are a die-hard Starbucks lover or firm believer in Dunkin' Donuts, get yourself a cup of caffeine and do work.
5. Ramen Noodles
While we're procrastinating and pulling all-nighters, who has the time to cook a gourmet meal, or in that case, who has the time to learn to cook a gourmet meal? Exactly, no one. That is why you should stock up on some Ramen Noodles. They come in huge packs and are extremely cheap.
6. Any Microwavable Food in that Sense
When you have the late-night munchies, lack of money, or you are just too lazy to get out of bed, make sure you are fully stocked with Microwavable food. It's cheap and easy! Whether it's Ramen, mac n' cheese or my favorite, Hot Pockets, don't get the stuck with the munchies and nothing to hold you over.
7. Cheap Beer and Liquor
Maybe it's inappropriate to include alcohol on this list of college essentials, but let's be honest, we are broke college students. After you have begun college, you have probably mastered the art of choosing cheap drinks that will fulfill your need without breaking your budget. Therefore, it is a college essential.
8. Advil
This comes in handy after all of those cheap drinks. With cheap liquor, comes extremely gruesome hangovers. Avoid the miserable feeling and make sure to stock up on Advil or any cheap generic headache medicine.
9. Sleep
When all of the partying and studying is through, make sure you get some rest. Sleep is a necessity to keep yourself going through college.
10. Netflix
Although college sounds like a place of constant drinking or studying, if you don't find things to fill your time, it can get extremely boring. Make sure to have a Netflix subscription to keep yourself occupied.
11. Febreeze
Febreeze comes in handy when you don't have the time to clean or are just too lazy to do it. It makes your guests think you have cleaned without actually doing the dirty work.
Leave the patron, filet mignon and cooking class until you have hit your 30s; this is the time to be young and reckless.
