As I'm moving into my dorm this week, I've already thought about the texts my parents should expect from me on a daily basis.
1. "How are the dogs? Send me pictures!"
2. "What's my social security number?"
I know it's sad that I'm in college and don't have this memorized.
3. What's the Netflix password?"
In case my computer decided it doesn't like me one day and signs me out.
4. "Sorry, I was sleeping" (or studying, or out)
...when responding back hours or days later.
5. "Can you look over this essay for me?"
You can never be too sure!
6. "What does this blinking light mean above my steering wheel mean?"
It's easier to text them rather than reading my car's manual.
7. "I'm broke."
As a cry for help, ha.
8. "According to Google, my symptoms say I have _____. I need to go to the doctor."
I'm a hypochondriac, what can I say?
9. "When I come home can we get our nails done?"
Because I'm never going to want to pay for a mani pedi when I'm ballin' on a budget.
10. "I aced my exam!!"
Maybe they'll want me to send it home so they can put it on the fridge.
11. "Yes, I'm working out and eating right."
In response to daily texts from my mom haha.
12. "I miss you guys!"
Cause I might not admit it now, but I sure will miss home!
