Congratulations! Now become one of the Gang and experience the REAL life.
You've gone through four or five years of undergraduate work at your now alma mater. Now you have to get a job, and maybe some readjustments now that you're free from the grasp of college.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia could also be Always Sunny in Boston or Portland or even San Diego. Wherever you go, this list of 10 Always Sunny moments will be the perfect examples to look at when it comes to dealing with the post-grad life.
1. Those little moments of celebration, like your graduation party or moving into your new apartment with your new roommates
Your one or two new roommates will probably go through that 'honeymoon' phase for some time, and heck that could be the entire time you're roommates. Mac, Frank and Dennis dancing perfectly sums up your celebration once the U-Haul and your parents are gone.
2. The conversation you'll have with your parents about 'finding a job'
You have a Master's degree! Awesome, now use it towards a job! Obviously the job hunt is quickly paced and sometimes tougher than usual, plus your folks will be on your case about it, but don't end up like Charlie and lose your mind over it.
3. When you're still just dating around but finally fall for that one person
You still go to the bar with some friends, and your Tinder game is still strong. However, you finally meet that one person who is 'The One'...but are you ready for that kind of relationship? Dennis sure has his thoughts mixed up.
4. When a coworker opens up to you about something personal but you've only known each other for a few weeks and you don't know what to do
If you're at a loss for words when a coworker talks about their significant other cheating on them that week, Frank is your guy for this kind of response.
5. When you forgot to do laundry and your apartment complex is filled with cats
Charlie has an interesting relationship with cats, so definitely try to avoid not doing laundry (and eating cat food to pass out).
6. When you're home for the holidays and it's the same hectic activity as when you were home from college
The good thing is your family won't be asking "How are classes?" They'll now be asking "How is your new job?"
7. When the Barista at the local Starbucks starts to know your order
Grande Latte, Double Shot Mocha. Or something similar like that. They also spell your name the right way, too.
8. After a few hours of napping and you forget how to do things...like talk
There's gonna be one Saturday or Sunday where you'll nap for a long time after a tough work week. Charlie's words here are a basic summary of what you'll say first after this kind of nap.
9. When you really love spaghetti and want to know the policy at the local movie theater
No explanation needed. If you really want to know, ask the usher. I doubt spaghetti-related incidents occur there.
10. When you and your roommate decide to have an impromptu dance party
Hopefully neither of you huff paint like Charlie.
And finally...
11. When it's the weekend and your roommate asks what you're gonna do
I get it: end of a long week, done with people already, and just ready to not do anything except the activity above. Hopefully you don't get too drunk like Charlie does, so stay safe!
This list was compiled for a majority of reasons: Always Sunny is a great show, and it's relateable on so many levels. Hopefully this list can help navigate through this post-college life. Good luck!
