Stubborn (adj): refusing to change your ideas or to stop doing something; or difficult to deal with, remove, etc. Essentially meaning we stubborn people are going to do what we want when we want. Many hard-headed people refuse to even admit to their stubborn ways. I'll fess up to my stubbornness, mainly because it's a family trait I've learned to deal with, but you'll just have to accept that because I'm not going to change. Here are some things all stubborn people say almost daily.
1. You're wrong.
2. Even if I know you're right, I refuse to admit it.
3. Because you're wrong.
I'm always right.
4. Don't talk to me until you tell me I'm right.
I win every single time at the "I'm not talking to you" game.
5. I don't want to.
There's no way I'm getting out of bed for that.
6. No, I hate those.
I'M NEVER GOING TO LIKE VEGETABLES, MOM.
7. Nothing you say will make me change my mind.
Seriously, just stop trying.
8. You're not the boss of me.
It's easier for both of us if you just do what I say.
9. I'm going to do it anyway.
Can't stop, won't stop.
10. Because I want to.
And I generally get what I want.
11. I'm doing it with or without you.
So just accept it and do it with me.
