Hey college students, Gossip Girl here. Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving break, but don't get too comfortable because the worst week of the semester is quickly approaching. Hope you're prepared because the stress and tensions are going to be at an all time high. Even if you don't love finals, you know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl.

1. Looking at the amount of work that needs to be done, and immediately doing something else to avoid it.

I can't study right now I have more important things to do. I have to finish this season. There's only like 14 episodes left. Also yesterday I noticed the microwave is dirty, I seriously have to clean that before I study. It's necessary.

2. Deciding to go out instead of studying for a cumulative final that is in two days.

If I stay in and study all I'm gonna do is watch my friends have fun on Snapchat. I'll be so upset; I can't do that to myself.

3. Stress eating at all times of the day.

Yes, this is my fifth time eating McDonalds today. Yes, I went to Target yesterday and bought six bags of chips, and yes, they're all gone already. I'm in a rough patch in my life, so please let me be.

4. Opening a notebook only to realize that skipping so many classes left a few holes in the notes.

Hmm... this page of my history notes is talking about WWI and the next page is about Obama... seems that I may have missed a few things here.

5. Trying to study and realizing the material is like a foreign language.

Maybe I should've paid attention in class instead of online shopping on my laptop the whole time.

6. Calculating the lowest grade possible to recieve on the final without dropping a letter grade.

Okay... so I need an 80 % to keep my B. That seems pretty steep, so maybe the professor will curve when I get a little lower.

7. Harassing professors via email for extra credit.

Ignoring my emails will not deter me; it will only cause me to email you 50 more times. Like I only need 27 more points for an A. I don't think I'm asking for much here.

8. Looking back at pictures from earlier in the semester when life was easy and fun.

Wow... I've almost forgotten how I look when I'm not seven cups of coffee deep and have slept more than three hours in the last three days.

9. Finding out that a final is cumulative.

I don't even remember what I ate for dinner yesterday how am I supposed to remember what I learned in August? Cumulative finals were invented by the devil I'm sure of it.

10. Saying goodbye to the professors who have made life a living hell for the semester.

Nice to see you professor. I see that you're alive and well even though you didn't respond to any of my 50 emails. I'll make sure to give you a fantastic rating on rate my professor.

11. Being done with finals, able go home, and do no school work for an entire month.

The stress is over and it's finally time to sleep, eat and Netflix life away in my own bed with my pet. This is what dreams are made of.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
