There are few things sorority girls love more than singing (yelling) every word to a song. Whether it is at a tailgate, your favorite fraternity, or just as your heading to sonic for happy hour, these songs are the staples to your playlist.
1. Closer by The Chainsmokers
If you didn’t know this was going to be first on the list then I have no idea where you’ve been all semester. This song has become a classic and while most sane people think this song is overplayed and can’t stand it anymore, I think it’s underplayed. In fact, I’m listening to it as I write this.
2. Broccoli by D.R.A.M.
"Hey, Lil mama would you like to be my sunshine?" This song is wonderful for many reasons including but not limited to, the Insta caption opportunities the lyrics provide, the unstoppable feeling you get when you belt every word, and the catchiness of it all. Don’t tell me you don’t sing along when this plays.
3. Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd
This song is not only awesome, but the fact that no one can say this guys name is quite possibly the best part. Next time you hear this song at a party ask the people you’re with whose song this and I promise the different pronunciations will be hilarious.
4. One Night by Lil Yachty
If you don’t feel like a baller after singing this song with all your friends then you’re doing it wrong.
5. Shabba by A$AP Ferg
You know when you hear the beginning of this song it's a guarantee whatever room you’re in is about to get way more lit.
6. HYFR by Drake
This is simply a classic and truly requires no other explanation so I’ll move on.
7. Love In This Club by Usher
If I didn’t include any Usher this list I would have lots of #ragrets so I threw in another classic.
8. DOLCE & GABBANA by Riff Raff
ICEBERG SIMPSON, ICEBERG SIMPSON! This is great and ironic because you get to yell about only messing with people who rock Dolce and Gabbana, but then you go home and eat Raman for lunch the next day (lol college is fun).
9. Ayy Ladies by Travis Porter
When this one comes on your dance moves automatically improve by at least 50% (or at least you feel like they do and that’s what counts, right?).
10. No Type by Rae Sremmurd
Not as high on the list, but still, Rae Sremmurd is somehow on this sorority anthem list twice, I’m not sure if he would like that. Either way, this one makes me laugh because most of us sorority ladies definitely have a type, and they’re usually saying ridiculous words like "clutch" while wearing khakis and polo.
11. Juju On That Beat by Zay Hilfigerrr
Hahaha if you thought you saw some creative dance moves during Ayyy Ladies please look around when this one comes on.
