Ah, yes. It's time to imagine what kind of songs Leon Kennedy of the "Resident Evil" franchise would have on his phone. I like to think he is the type of guy to enjoy hard rock and heavy metal — with some occasional soft pop numbers. You'll see what I mean. *wink wink*
With that being said, let's take a look at some of the songs LSK listens to on a regular basis.
1. The Boys of Summer - Don Henley
This seems to be something that would remind Leon of his younger days. You know, when times were simple and he didn't have to worry about a zombie outbreak every five minutes. Ah, good times.
2. Linger - The Cranberries
One of the softer songs that he has. Before getting into any newer songs, I wanted to include some tunes was more relevant during Leon's time period. With that being said, this song is definitely a '90s romantic classic.
3. Use Somebody - Kings of Leon
No pun intended, hence the name, hehe. OK, yeah, it actually was intended. But for some reason, I can picture Leon humming to this one whenever it would come on the radio
4. Bad Religion - Godsmack
The year is 1998. Leon is currently speeding through Raccoon City because he's late for his first day on the job. I like to think he had this banger blasting through his Jeep stereo.
5. Ride The Lightning - Metallica
Definitely an all-time guilty pleasure. This song brings Leon back to his childhood whenever his father would blast this while working in the garage. A song that definitely brings back some memories.
6. Come Together - Godsmack
Originally sung by The Beatles, this tune is definitely an anthem for getting things done. It's no question Leon is a hard-working guy, and this is probably a song he uses for extra motivation from time to time.
7. Don’t Stop Believin’ - Journey
"DON'T STOP BELIEEEEEVIN'" This song is definitely well known to just about everybody. A song for sure Leon has in his music library.
8. Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
One of my all-time favorites from Queen. Again, I wanted to stay as true to the time period as possible, and I think this one is a good match for his "younger days."
9. My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
This would be one of those songs you'd scroll by in his library and just wouldn't ask. Chris Redfield has mocked him for it several times.
10. Dragula - Rob Zombie
OK, this may be my inner goth kid talking. But this one was probably played loudly in his Jeep on his way to the police academy in 1998.
11. Do I Wanna Know? - The Arctic Monkeys
No particular reason. I can just picture Leon liking this song because of its blues and rock n roll vibe.
