We all know what it is like to accidentally skip a step going down the stairs or trip over something, but some of us just have a special lack of coordination. Usually everyone has an awkward phase in their life, but this is for all the people (such as myself) who never grew out of their clumsy stage...

1. You are very familiar with the feeling of falling.

It happens quite regularly. Sometimes you trip over an obvious cord or tree root, but more often than not, you just tripped over your own feet.

2. You have fallen while trying to use stairs more than once.

Stairs are obviously a very complex situation so it's no surprise if you have survived an entire flight of stairs beating the hell out of you a few times. Notice how I did not say falling "down" the stairs. This is because, believe it or not, it is possible to fall while walking up the stairs. The result is about the same, however.

3. You break things.

It seems that you break everything you touch. Expensive things, cheap things, big things, small things. If it can break, you should probably stay far away.

4. You accidentally injure people.

Fortunately, most of the time that person is you, but sometimes it's not. Your friends should probably know it's coming by now.

5. Paying with cash is a nightmare.

Having to get multiple objects out of an enclosed space usually does not end well for you anyway, but when the pressure is on and you are in a rush you might as well just release the contents of your wallet on the floor because it will end up there anyway.

6. You probably suck at card games.

You either end up showing your cards to everyone or dropping them everywhere. Don't even bother with trying to shuffle cards.

7. Sports are not even an option.

I've actually been nailed in the face with a frisbee. You learn quickly that you can injure yourself doing just about anything.

8. You run into people regularly.

I am not talking about a little collision. I mean you have fully body checked a stranger...

9. Inanimate objects are likely your worst enemy.

Simply unzipping your jacket can turn into a magic trick, and it's pretty amazing if it actually works out.

10. You hate keys.

Fumbling for the correct key is bad enough, but when you finally find it, successfully opening the door is a complete miracle. That's only if you have not dropped everything on the ground.

11. You are not even embarrassed anymore.

These situations happen so regularly that you find it pointless to stress over the little things. You aren't exactly graceful, but you are unique. Embrace your clumsy!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
