There is no argument that Scituate is the best town in Massachusetts so don't even doubt us. From our beaches to our hobbies to our lingo it's pretty easy to tell whether or not you're from Scituate. Not only is Scituate the most scenic places around but it's filled with some pretty awesome people. If you can relate to these 11 signs than you are most definitely from Scituate.

1. If you aren't Irish are you even from Scituate?

Scituate being the most Irish town in America, We take pride in our heritage as a town. We drink, eat, and act like we're from the rolling hills of Ireland only thing missing is those amazing brogues. St. Paddys day is a big day for us Scituate people.

2. If you aren't from Scituate it may be difficult to comprehend our lingo.

From GAZA, to YETA it's almost impossible to keep a conversation going, with someone not from your area, without having to explain what you're talking about. You'll probably get laughed at for referring to a party as a "dinger" but our lingo is quiet unique

3. Scituate 500.

How could you not want to spend your days driving around this scenic town? If you're from Scituate you probably go on weekly cruises with a couple pals around the town. You're camera roll is most likely filled with pictures you had to capture while pulled over like this.

4. Spit season.

Hearing someone say "spit season" is music to your ears. You may ask yourself, “Who is the group of 20 plus kids heading over with back packs and twisted teas in hand?” It's probably the Scituate kids; we always come prepared. Families always regret coming here because the Scituate kids sure know how to turn up. They can’t always handle it … and sadly neither can the popo.

5. Our winters are definitely the roughest.

If you’re looking to go for a nice kayak ride through some neighborhoods in Sandhills during the winter than come on down to Scituate. There is no doubt that our winters can be the roughest. So what can you find most of us Scituate people up to while snowed in? You probably already guessed it.

6. Sailor pride.

It is well known that Scituate takes an abundant amount of pride in our school sports so showing up to a football game may be a bit intimidating for the opposing teams. We tend to get a little carried away with our chants but its all in good fun. We can’t help but show a little enthusiasm knowing that we will most likely demolish the opposing team. Our bleachers are always filled.

7. Cosmos slices are the best.

You can never go wrong with a slice of pizza from Cosmos. You can definitely count on seeing some familiar faces in here. It may even get a little bit rowdy in there during the weekends. Thanks for putting up with us, Mickey.

9. Scorp bowls at Feng.

Nothing going on on a Saturday night? You'll probably find yourself sitting at Feng with a few friends and some scorp bowls. Just make sure your waiter is Jason.

10. Bonfires.

Whether it's winter or summer us Scituate people love our bonfires. Especially the ones spent on Egypt on a summer night but those usually get busted. Make sure to wear your running sneakers.

11. Leaving Scituate is nearly impossible.

All you’ve dreamed of was getting out of that dreadful Scituate high school and hitting the road for college, but once you're away from Scituate you'll realize how lucky you were to grow up in such an amazing town. No matter where you end up you'll always be that Scituate kid at heart.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
