Have you ever lived in a big city to suddenly have your life take a turn and bring you to a small town? Or maybe you grew up in a big city and you decided to attend college in a small town. Either way, it's a big adjustment and these are just some of the many signs that you're a city girl living in a country world.
1. Finding clothes for certain events can be bit more of a struggle
From business interviews to sorority formals,semi-formals, finding clothes for these important can be more of a struggle. In a smaller town their are usually fewer options so sometimes you struggle a little bit more.
2. Since moving to a small town you order more things online than you ever thought you would.
Amazon Prime is actually a blessing in my life.
3. You have to drive farther to get what you want
Road trips become more of a regular thing & filling up your tank becomes more of a regular thing.
4. You appreciate going home to the big city a lot more
Home is where the mall is.
5. While you're at home you get way more excited about things than you did before.
I'm sorry I just really want to go Target when I get home.
6. Having the constant struggle of deciding if you like country music or not
The countriest music you listen to is Taylor Swift...
7.Everyone knows everything about everybody and you are constantly trying to figure out if that's a good or bad thing
You love hearing the gossip of the town, but as soon as it's about you, you feel annoyed.
8. Shopping can be a struggle
With fewer stores to choose from sometimes finding exactly what you want can be a hassle. Do I drive forty-five minutes just to get the only shampoo I will use? Yes, yes I do.
9. Sitting around bothers you
Riding around all day every day, sitting in a truck while mudding?? Uh, I still don't get it.
10. You still refuse to wear camo
I mean I want people to see my outfits, enough said.
11. Adjusting to your new lifestyle is an adventure and you love (well maybe deep down) the excitement of it
Think about it, a city girl in a country world, you're basically getting to live out the plot of many movies...
