Having a furry friend to come home to is one of the best feelings. If you have spent any time on the Internet, you can tell humans love cats. Studies have shown that our feline companions are sensitive to human emotional gestures.The studies show that our mousers are interested in us. There comes a point when your furry feline becomes your best friend. Here are 11 signs that your kitty has become your best friend!

1. You and your kitty do everything together.

2. You share the same hobbies, such as napping.

3. You talk to your cat about all of your problems, since your kitty is such a great listener and won't tell anyone.

4. You and your cat are inseparable.

5. You give your kitty a taste of human food every once and awhile.

6. When you are away from your kitty, even for a couple of hours, you miss your furry friend.

7. Nothing cheers you up more than kitty cuddles when you're sad.

8. Your cat follows you throughout the house.

9. Sometimes you’d rather stay in with your cat than go out with your human friends.

10. You would do anything for your cat.

11. There is nothing better than the sound of their happy purr.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
