A best friend is someone that knows everything about you; the good, the bad, and the ugly. They know everything and they love you despite any shortcomings you may have. Sometimes we forget just how much these people mean to us. I know I would be nothing without my best friends, so I thought I would compile a list of signs that prove you and your best friend are forever friends.

1. There's not much you wouldn't do for them

You would do anything for your best friend. End of story.

2. You have the same sense of humor

3. You know how to cheer them up

4. You call them out on their shit

5. You’ve seen them at their best

6. And their worst

7. Their family is your family

8. You call them to talk about dreams

9. They’re always there for you

10. You’re always there for them

You love them. More than anything. You have been through thick and thin and you couldn't see yourself without them. They are more than your best friend. They are your forever friend.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
