If you go or went to Tusculum, you will know these things to be true. If you are planning on attending Tusculum, you will soon find out that these things are true. But, let's first say, thank you, Tusculum College. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you!
1. The Arch
2. Niswonger Commons
The majority of freshmen get stuck living in the largest communal dorm on campus, and usually complain about it. It’s an adventure to say the least, and definitely something every freshman needs to experience once in their lifetime. That’s not to say that I didn’t complain about living in Kat my freshman year, but when you soon learn you’re living with your lifelong best friends it all becomes worth it.
7. The Café
When is the café open? Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but only for a few hours at a time. Make sure you plan your schedule just right or you’ll miss the opportunity to go grab something to eat! Breakfast is always good to see Ms. Roxanne. Lunch is always good to get hugs from Travis. For dinner, you can always count on Ms. Nancy to make you one great sandwich!
8. Museums
Where else can you go to college and have two museums located on your campus?
9. Creamy Cup
The tiniest coffee drive-thru located just across the street from campus
that is locally owned and operated. You know you go see Mrs. Lynette too much
when she knows you by name and your exact drink order. So, thank you Mrs.
Lynette for the many caffeine runs to help get through the day!
10. Knowing Everyone
It doesn’t matter if you have had class with someone or you are even friends with them you are going to know everyone. It’s definitely a small college thing, it’s not like at the University of Tennessee, where you might be praying for your paths to cross again – you paths are most definitely going to cross again at TC.
11. The View
Enough said.
Tusculum College has become my home away from home for the last four years and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Thank you Tusculum for giving me lifetime experiences and helping me make some great memories!
