While America is home of the free, Italy is home of the carbs, and that counts for something. Studying abroad in Italy was one of the best experiences of my life, but it definitely can change you. Here are 11 signs you studied abroad in Italy:
1. Domino's pizza doesn't cut it anymore. I mean, how can it after you've gotten used to this:
2. And on that note, sharing pizza seems like such a strange concept now.
3. You jaywalk a lot more now.
4. You complain about how obnoxious people with selfie sticks are yet deep down you want one (or probably already have one) too.
5. You find yourself randomly placing Italian words in your conversations.
6. And you use hand gestures a lot more now.
7. You feel the need to correct people when they pronounce "bruschetta" wrong.

8. You consider yourself a wine expert now.
9. You miss being able to eat all the carbs you want without fear of judgment from others.
10. Your stomach is three times the size it should be.
11. You're already wishing for the day you could go back.
