Now that Halloween is over, we are that much closer to Christmas. Gone are the pumpkins and candy corn. They are now replaced with Christmas trees and candy canes. For many, the next obvious holiday to decorate for would be Thanksgiving, but there are those, myself included, that can't wait until Christmas. It's the most wonderful time of the year, after all! If you are reading this and any of these characteristics apply to you, you might have a slight obsession with Christmas. But, don't worry, you're not alone.
1. As soon as Halloween is over, you haul out the decorations.
2. You've already made your wish list and have sent it off to Santa.
3. You've been on Pinterest for weeks looking at all of the DIY decorations because who actually wants to buy their ornaments to decorate the tree?
4. You've already bought some gifts, and they're perfect for each person.
5. You eagerly anticipate the release of the red cups at Starbucks, signaling that the best drinks of the year have finally arrived.
6. Everything is peppermint. There's candy canes, Chapstick, body lotions, perfumes, air fresheners, and the list goes on.
7. Christmas music is already playing throughout your house and you're belting out all of the words to "Jingle Bells," "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," and of course, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
8. You're on the hunt for the perfect ugly sweater—the uglier, the better.
9. You're ready for all of the Christmas movies and specials that will air because this is the only time that "Home Alone," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Elf," and "It's Christmas, Charlie Brown" are all on almost every single day.
10. The thought of the first snowfall makes you giddy.
11. You spread your Christmas cheer to everyone, even if they tell you that we haven't even made it Thanksgiving yet.
Who cares what people say? You do you and keep spreading that holiday cheer because others will catch on soon enough!
