I think you have probably got the vibe from my past articles or my posts on Facebook that I love cats, especially my baby kitty. Her name is Clover and she is the cutest ever!

But that is beside the point, the point is that I love cats and sometimes when I am around people, I realize that I would much rather be with my cat. Here are a few signs that you love your cat more than most people.

1. You are hanging out and people are sitting around on their phones so you get on yours too just so its not awkward and you find yourself looking at pictures of your cat.

2. All day all you can think about is getting in bed with your snuggle buddy for the night. Its nothing like getting into the bed with a cat and feeling their warmth and love beside you.

3. Your friend or family member asks you if you want to hang out or you are just looking for an excuse to leave and you say "Actually I have things I need to get done" or "No, I don't feel good, I'm probably going to head on home and get some rest." but you actually mean "I'm gonna go home and be alone with my cat."

4. Some people you know or hang out with start to talk about something completely uninteresting or even frustrating and I you can think is how you cat never gets on your nerves like people do.

5. You are constantly showing pictures of your cats to your friends and probably annoying them because they are tired of seeing the same pictures of your cat but you can help yourself because they are the cutest thing you have ever seen.

6. You go to Walmart or target with your friend and they want to look at the makeup or clothes and you want to go and look to see if they have any cool new toys or to pick up treats so that when you get home your cat will be happy to see you.

7. Your wallpaper on everything you own is pictures of your cat. This also counts if you have framed pictures of your cat in your house.

8. For Christmas your favorite person to shop for is your cat, you try to find the best toys and play sets so your kitty can have the best Christmas ever!

9. You find yourself telling a bunch of funny stories about your cat

10. The best part of your day is pulling in the driveway or walking in the door and your cat waiting for you after a long hard day at school or work.

11. You honestly admit and have accepted the fact that you would much rather be a cat person then a people person any day.

I'm sorry but my cat is the best thing that could have happened to me and honestly if I could I would much rather be with my cat all day than talk to any one else.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
