With summer vacation finally here, most teenagers will find themselves with summer jobs and barely enough time to spend with their best friends. Although, when the sun goes down, many of us find ourselves in front of our television or computer screens, bingeing entire seasons of our favorite shows. What do you do when you finish your favorite series? Many find themselves delving into the depths of Netflix, watching B-List horror movies or your childhood favorite Disney film. However, there are many series on Netflix that have been severely ignored over the years. So, after you finish the newest season of "Grey's Anatomy" or finally complete "Parks and Recreation," you should definitely try out these favorites.

1. If you love "Grey's Anatomy," try "Private Practice."

"Private Practice" ran from 2007-2013. This series is actually a spin-off of the beloved "Grey's Anatomy," following Dr. Addison Montgomery on her move from Seattle to Los Angeles. The show originally aired on ABC and was a favorite for those who loved "Grey's Anatomy." All six seasons of the spin-off can be found on Netflix, averaging twenty episodes per season. This series is guaranteed to keep Grey's fans happy for at least a month or two.

2. If you love "The Walking Dead," try "Lost."

"Lost" ran from 2002-2012 on ABC; however, the series only had six seasons. The television show follows the lives of survivors of a plane crash which lands on a remote island. The show visits the lives of each survivor before and after the crash. While the series is lacking in zombies, the draw of abandoned establishments and strange happenings will appeal to a "Walking Dead" fan. The entire series can be found on Netflix, averaging twenty episodes per season.

3. If you love "Supernatural," try "Charmed."

"Charmed" ran from 1998-2006 on The WB. The series follows the life of three Halliwell sisters who are also witches. For lovers of "Supernatural," the family aspect will be appealing. The series also has a romantic appeal that Supernatural tends to lack. The show includes many supernatural and witchy beings. There are eight seasons of "Charmed" all which can be found on Netflix, averaging twenty-two episodes per season.

4. If you like "How I Met Your Mother," try "Rules of Engagement."

"Rules of Engagement" ran from 2007-2013 on CBS. The series surrounds two couples and their single friend throughout various stages of their lives. Despite the negative reviews the show got while airing, it has received generally good ratings. Both shows take place in New York City and center themselves around marriage and finding the right woman while also enjoying time with your friends. All seven seasons of "Rules of Engagement" can be found on Netflix, averaging fifteen episodes per season.

5. If you like "NCIS," try "CSI:NY."

"CSI:NY" ran from 2004-2013 on CBS. The series focuses on Mac Taylor's team of investigators as they solve unusual and violent crimes throughout the New York City area. While "NCIS" focuses more on the lives of the agents, "CSI:NY" focused on the crimes at hand instead of the agents' personal lives. There are also aspects of the agents' lives in "CSI:NY," but not to the caliber of "NCIS." All nine seasons of "CSI:NY" are on Netflix, averaging twenty-two episodes per season.

6. If you like "Scorpion," try "Chuck."

"Chuck" ran from 2007-2012 on NBC. The series focused on the life of Chuck Bartowski after a super computer is inserted in his head containing important government secrets. His CIA and NSA handlers, Sarah and Casey, risk their lives to protect him and complete missions with him. The series contains the quirky and nerdy protagonist those who enjoy Scorpion have come to love. All five seasons of "Chuck" can be found on Netflix, averaging eighteen episodes per season.


7. If you like "Royal Pains," try "Psych."

"Psych" ran from 2006-2014 on USA. The series focused on Shawn Spencer and his best friend, Gus, as Shawn pretends to be a psychic. Shawn opens his own business and frequently helps out the local authorities. While Shawn is not actually a psychic, he is amazingly observant which helps him solve a series of difficult cases. Both of these television shows have a very cocky and egotistical main character who also has charming qualities. All eight seasons can be found on Netflix, averaging fifteen episodes per season.

8. If you like "Scandal," try "House of Cards."

House of Cards started in 2013 and is still running to this day. The television show is a Netflix original. The series focuses on a Congressman who works with his wife to extract his revenge on those who have done his family wrong. Both series are based on the corruption of the government and based in the Washington D.C. area. All four of the released seasons are available on Netflix, averaging thirteen episodes per season

9. If you like "Modern Family," try "Parenthood."

"Parenthood" ran from 2010-2015 on NBC. The series focused on the lives of many members of the Braverman family. The television show depicts the struggles and accomplishments of raising a family in the modern world. Both of these shows focus on the raising of families in today's society, while "Modern Family" focuses on three different families instead of one. All six seasons of "Parenthood" are available on Netflix, averaging seventeen episodes per season.

10. If you like "Grimm," try "Once Upon A Time."

"Once Upon A Time" aired in 2011 and is still running on ABC. "Once Upon A Time" follows the life of many fairy tale characters doomed to live their lives in the modern world with no recollection of who they are due to an evil queen's curse. Emma Swan, the show's protagonist, is summoned to the small town these characters live in by her forgotten son where she is thought to be the key to undoing the curse. Both of these shows are focused on fairy tale characters in the modern world. All of the four released seasons can be found on Netflix, averaging twenty-two episodes per season.

11. If you like "Orange Is The New Black," try "Weeds."

"Weeds" ran from 2005-2012 on Showtime. Weeds follows the life of a single mother dealing drugs in an attempt to continue to live her fancy lifestyle, following the death of her husband. Both of these shows have strong female characters and surround a risky lifestyle. All eight seasons of the series can be found on Netflix, averaging thirteen episodes per season.
