11 Shows And Movies To Add To Your Netflix List
Netflix

Summer is upon us and that means it's time to relax. For some, relaxing means spending as much time outside as possible. For the rest of the world, that means Netflix bingeing. So, before you sit down to enjoy your favorite activity, here's a list of shows and movies I recommend on Netflix.

1. "Young and Hungry"

This show is hilarious and very binge-worthy. I haven't finshed this show myself, but I highly recomend it.

2. "Raising Hope"

This show is one of my favorites. There are four seasons and I finished all of them in about two weeks. It is definitely worth watching.

3. The Batman

There are a lot of animated Batman series out there, but this one, in my opinion, is the best. There are five seasons and characters like Batgirl and Robin are introduced as well as villians such as Penguin and Catwoman. This series also contains one of the few non-creepy Jokers.

4. The Princess Bride

This movie is a classic and just got added to Netflix. This movie is one of my very favorites. If you love funny, cheesy, 80s movies you will love this one!!

5. That's 70s Show

We all know "That 70s Show" from when it used to play on Nick at Nite, but all of the seasons are on Netflix now. So you can watch it from beginning to end.

6. "Scrubs"

Do you like "Grey's Anatomy"? Do you like 90s sitcoms? If you answered yes to either one of these questions, you might enjoy "Scrubs." This show is hilarious. It will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between. Also, Zach Braff is amazing.

7. "Gossip Girl"

This show really doesn't need any explanation. "Gossip Girl" is a classic, so just watch it.

8. "Begin Again"

This movie, though not well known, has big name actors such as, Keira Knightly, Mark Ruffalo, and Adam Levine. It is not a muscial, but there are some very good songs throughout the film by Keira Knightly and Adam Levine. This is definitely worth checking out.

9. "NCIS"

This is my all-time favorite show. I was so excited when I first saw that it had been added to Netflix. I believe 12 seasons are on Netflix currently, so this show should last you through the summer.

10. "Just Friends"

This movie is one of Ryan Reynolds' early comedies and, honestly, one of his best. If you love to laugh, but also love a good love story, this movie would fit nicely on your list.

11. "The Last Five Years"

This movie is based on an off-Broadway production of the same name. If you are a musical fan and you love feel-good movies, you will love this one. Just be prepared to cry. But who doesn't love Anna Kendrick?

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
