Remember the good old '90s? Flannels and computers with a glass screen but best of all were the TV shows. Come on, admit it, though they were cheesy at times the TV shows of the '90s were pretty great. Take a walk down memory lane with these 11 shows from the '90s we all miss.
1. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers"
Who didn't want to have a cool ring and save the planet from pollution? Honestly, it was very cheesy but that's what made it so fun and it had a great message for kids.
2. "Batman: The Animated Series"
Back before the deep, raspy Christian Bale Batman every '90s kid was accustomed to, the sound of Kevin Conroy who voiced our beloved Gotham knight.
3. "Dexter's Laboratory"
From the creators of "The Powerpuff Girls" came "Dexter's Laboratory," a show about a crazy red head and his mad science skills. The only reason we didn't want to be him is because he was extremely short.
4. "X-Men"
Super heroes were where it was at in the '90s and Fox Kids was dishing them out! The X-men had super cool villains and the music during fight scenes was awesome too.
5. "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"
Though the Power Rangers are still going strong it will never quite be the same as the original squad.
6. "The Powerpuff Girls"
Superheroes who were little girls! This show was empowering to young girls and boys too, as it had some pretty rad villains, such as MoJo JoJo. This show is so well loved that they brought it back to Cartoon Network this year!
7. "Rugrats"
We all remember growing up and watching this show, it answered the great question: What do toddlers really say and think?
8. "Eerie Indiana"
This show was like a cross between "Goosebumps" and "The Hardy Boys." Though it was more for the older kids, it was still creepy and we gobbled it up.
9. "The Wild Thornberrys"
Nigel Thornberry has the best mustache in the existence of cartoon mustaches. Not to mention we all wanted to have a rad family that explored the wild. But seriously that mustache!
10. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
Another show that has come back (this time as another movie with CGI) but the original was always where it was at. Four turtle brothers, all named after famous artists, who were ninjas and they kept New York safe.
11. "Bill Nye the Science Guy"
Even if you aren't a '90s kid almost everyone knows the epic theme song (admit it you are singing it right now). A cool blend of education and Bill Nye being a goof, everyone loved when the teacher pulled this bad boy out and this was the class treat we all screamed for joy over (besides the mythical pizza or ice cream party).
