Bath & Body Works is one of the best stores to help your life smell a little bit better. They have the best options for body care, hand soaps, and home fragrances. If you're obsessed with any of these like I am or just want to try a new scent, here are 11 scents you absolutely need to try.

1. A Thousand Wishes

This is one of my favorite fragrances! It smells sweet and has a variety of different smells. They also sell lotion, body wash, and hand sanitizer. There was one point where they even sold hair mist and it was the best thing that I had ever purchased from their store.

2. Lavender Chamomile Pillow Mist

The pillow mist is AMAZING. I can't go to bed without it. Lavender is one of the best scents for sleep. This is in the aromatherapy category of Bath & Body Works. There is also lotion, sugar scrub, and massage oil! Sleeping in a dorm isn't easy but the mist has helped me fall asleep quickly!

3. Beautiful Day

This smells just like a sweet apple! I would describe it as a green apple Jolly Rancher.

4. Sweet Pea

This is a classic scent at Bath & Body Works and is always available. Definitely one of my favorites!

5. Watermelon Lemonade Candle

This candle smells so good! It reminds me of summer. Two things that definitely go with summer are lemonade and watermelon.

6. Ocean For Men

One of the best things about Bath and Body Works (even though there's like a million) is they have really nice scents for guys too! This one is a clean fresh smell. I have gotten this for a guy before and they really liked it!

7. Limoncello

Bath & Body Works kills it with the fruit smells. I would recommend this one as a hand soap for the kitchen! It's a really nice lemon smell but not too overpowering.

8. Honolulu Sun

For all of you wishing for warmer weather. This Hawaiian smell reminds me of the beach! It's the perfect scent for the spring and summer time.

9. Eucalyptus Mint

This scent is supposedly the best for stress relief. This is also a part of the aroma therapy collection. Stress relief and sleep relief? Sounds like a good combination to me.

10. Coconut Leaves Room Spray

The room sprays are really strong and last a long time! You only need to spray it once and the room fills with the scent of coconut.

11. Sea Island Cotton

For that fresh clean smell sea island cotton is a breath of fresh air. It's like the smell of clothes fresh out of the laundry but better!

You can buy all of these on bathandbodyworks.com! Treat yo' self or bribe someone else to buy these for you! Happy shopping!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
