11 Reasons Your Dog is the Ultimate BFF

"A dog is a man's best friend." Have you ever stopped to think about that? Have you ever thought about how loyal and faithful your furry little pet can be? Here's a list of reasons why your dog is your true best friend:

1. Your dog is ALWAYS excited to see you.

Whether you've been gone for 5 minutes or 5 hours, your dog will happily wag its tail and greet you as soon as you walk in the door.

2. Your dog puts you before anyone else.

In their mind, you and your family are the only ones that matter. You will always come first.

3. Your dog will never back-stab you.

You can tell as many secrets to your dog and they won't tell ANYBODY (mainly because they can't speak but also because they are LOYAL.)

4. Your dog is always down to just chill.

Lazy? Your dog will definitely stay in, watch a movie, and cuddle with you.

5. But your dog is always down to go out and do something.

Energized? Your dog will definitely go outside, play catch, hike, or run with you. It's really the best of both worlds.

6. Your dog will always listen.

Ever sit down and just ramble to your dog about your day or about a tough situation? This kind of friend doesn't need to give advice to show he/she cares.

7. Your dog knows when something is wrong.

If your dog sees that you're upset, they gladly come to you and show his/her love with a bunch of kisses and snuggles.

8. Your dog loves to eat just as much as you do.

If eating is one of your favorite hobbies, you probably have a lot in common with most dogs. Even though your furry little friend is a huge moocher, they'll always enjoy food-time with you.

9. Your dog won't start a fight.

No need to argue over stupid things, your dog values your friendship so much that they will hardly ever get mad at you (also mainly because they can't speak).

10. Your dog will always protect you.

Your dog is your personal bodyguard. They'll always bark to keep away that mean old mailman or scary car driving past your street. They've got your back.

11. Your dog looks up to you more than just an owner, but as their best friend.

You are their world. Your dog lives to see you everyday, and being with you is most important to them.

So thank you, dog, for being the best BFF I could ever ask for.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
