Dating a girl with a big family can be intimidating. But it's not without its perks.

Who better to exemplify these than the Gallaghers from "Shameless"? Here are 11 reasons you should date a girl with a big family:

1. You’re never lonely.

You always have someone around to listen to you vent or go to a baseball game with if her family is around.

2. There's always lots of food.

You can always expect enough food to feed an army when there is a big family involved.

3. She knows loyalty.

Family is everything to her and she has practiced constant loyalty to them, so know you never have to doubt hers.

4. You don’t gain one but __.

Aside from gaining the girl, you gain her family who I promise will accept you like their own.

5. Family gatherings are always fun.

Nomatter the gathering, the time or the place, family gatherings with her family are always a blast.

6. Your kids will have plenty of playmates.

Once you’re ready to have kids, just know they’ll always have someone to play with and will never be bored so feel free to stop at one.

7. She knows how to share.

Because she grew up with such a large family, sharing was never not an option. She’s grown up sharing everything she owns.

8. There’s always a birthday to celebrate.

Lots of people = lots of birthdays = lots of fun!!

9. There always enough people that you’ll never have to awkwardly sit in silence.

No matter which way you turn, you’ll never have to worry about sitting there awkwardly because each way you turn I promise someone is there.

10. You know you won’t be judged.

Being in a big family means everyone is different, so no one is ever going to judge you.

11. Someone always has your back.

Being a part of a big family means you’ll always have back up, all the way from the binkie to the cane. Because whoever their family member loves, they love.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her.
