The most important day of any sorority girls life is the day when she gets her big. Big/Little week is the craziest, best week of your new member period, and the one that no body can wait for. It’s like Christmas during the middle of the semester. You get all sorts of presents, and it’s a guessing game to try and figure out who your big is before reveal. Then the day comes when you finally get to see the person that pretty much knows everything about you at that point. Here are 11 things to know about your perfect big.

1. She knows everything there is to know about your sorority, the good and the bad.

She'll lead you through all that is sorority.

2. She’ll answer all questions you’ve been scared to ask because they seem obvious to every one else.

Go ahead and ask all those questions you've been embarrassed to ask about.

3. She quickly becomes your best friend and sometimes knows you better then you do.

Scary thing is she most likely knows.

4. She knows everything about you because she’s already social media stalked you for weeks.

Before reveal she had to be careful not to mention that she had any special interest in you.

5. She’ll always be down for an adventure.

No matter where you're going.

6. When you feel the need to call at random hours of the night and rant about what’s keeping you up, she’ll listen.

She might even come over and bring you that ice cream that you so desperately need in some instances.

7. She’ll tell you what you need to hear, even if it’s not what you want to hear.

You might not want to hear that that boy's not good for you and that you need to drop him, or that that shirt does not make you look good, but it's what needs to be done.

9. She'll always think you're perfect.

She'll brag to anyone and everyone about her perfect little.

10. She will spoil you because you are her little.

It doesn't stop after reveal.

11. She’ll always be there for you no matter what.

She's always got your back and you've got hers.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
