What's better than makeup? A man who is able to dress up and do makeup better than I am able to do no matter how hard I practice? That is pretty amazing. Rupaul's Drag Race announced that they are going to air an All Stars 2 edition of the ever popular competition show. Since then, it's been all the buzz in the LGBTQ+ community. So if it already weren't an incentive to watch it because they are all starts, here's 11 more reasons:

1. The Makeup

The queens competing this season are the best of the best: so you can bet the makeup will be too. Have you ever seen a contour so fabulous? I think not.

2. The Drama

The queens are personalities are big so you can bet the drama will be too. In a competition, it is almost guaranteed that their will be drama. These queens are known for throwing shade and dishing it right back. It's not only a competition but some reality television as well.

3. The Wardrobes

After this GIF, do I really need to elaborate on this one? I think not.

4. The Lip-Sync Battles

Before there was that new show where celebrities lip sync to songs, there was drag queens. Truthfully, this is one of my favorite parts of the show. Since the entire cast will be all-stars, you know they will bring it every single battle so they can prove that they are the best.

5. Rupaul

Aside from her many famous Rupaul sayings, she is also known for being kind and caring towards her queens. She is able to bring out the best in them. It will be interesting to see how she interacts with queens that she has history with before on the show.

6. Guest Judges

If they managed to get Ariana Grande as a guest judge for the past season, you can bet that for the All Star season the judges will be bigger, better and even more famous. The drag world is growing and so is the popularity, leaving the audience suspicious as to what big names they will be able to get.

7. The Life Lessons

To be honest, drag queens are extremely inspirational. They are able to show a confidence I have never seen before and an authenticity that others are not able to be fully. This season I can already sense that these queens will have important lessons to teach us viewers.

8. Adore Delano

I may be a little biased here... but what can I say? We all have our favorites.

9. Over-the-top Queens

I am fully expecting over the top everything from their wardrobes to their personalities. If you think this outfit is to die for (pun intended), then I can only imagine some of the sickening outfits we'll see in this season of RPDR.

10. Redemption

All of these queens are back and ready to win. Many of them were in the top three and therefore want to prove who they are and that they are winners. I am fully prepared to watch each and every single one of them slay.

11. Fan Favorites

Look at this picture. You cannot sit here and tell me that one of these isn't your favorite queen. Now sashay away and watch them slay the game.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
