11 Reasons Why Love Actually Is The Best
The Mad Movie Man

It's official, Love Actually is the best movie there ever was! While it's technically a Christmas movie, it can really be watched at any time during the year. Whether it is snowing outside or blazing hot, the witty humor and heart warming love stories will pull you in any day of the year. All the characters have intricate love lives that wrap around each other creating the perfect romantic comedy. And best of all, you can watch it over and over again without getting tired of it!

1. Colin Firth's Love Life

While his storyline breaks your heart in the first ten minutes of the movie, his love life quickly mends your broken heart with a new romance and a few laughs along the way.

2. Hugh Grant's Dancing

This scene was the absolute best! And reminds us all of our dad's dancing just a little bit.

3. This Scene Altogether

Your heart melted, and you shed some tears. Admit it.

4. When You Find Out Sam's In Love

Sam taught us that no one is too young to be in love.

5. The Wedding Scene

Even though I was always secretly rooting for Mark and Juliet, this scene was too cute not to love.

6. Karl and Sarah

Dang, I wish their love story would have worked out. But hey, I loved watching it unfold!

7. When Aurelia Says Yes

It's hard to pick favorites... but their love story ranks very high on my list.

8. This Song

While they make it out to be a terrible song in the movie... it's actually not that bad. It will also be stuck in your head hours after the movie ends.

9. The Prime Minister And Natalie

Love him. Love her. Love them. Now if the president could just quit getting involved that would be great....

10. The Airport Scene

No matter who your favorite characters are, the airport scene seems to give everyone a happy, feel good ending. Especially Sam and Daniel.

11. The Calm Before The Storm

Oh, how I remember this scene. The scene before Karen realizes what Snape... I mean Harry has done to his marriage. While this scene rips the hearts of Love Actually fans apart, it makes the movie even more addicting.

All in all, Love Actually is an incredible movie packed will all your favorite actors. It's heartwarming, humorous, and at times even sad, and perfect for this time of year! If you have never seen Love Actually I urge you to do so! You certinly won't regret it!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
