Many of you might be familiar with ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy. Grey's has been on the air for about 11 years now. So if your like me, you watched 11 years of TV in one month on Netflix. Not something I usually do, but I'm completely hooked on this show, as I'm sure most of you are too. Though I'm very obsessed with Grey's, it's gotten out of hand. In fact, there's 11 reasons why Grey's Anatomy is ruining my life.

1. It's Time Consuming.

If your like me, you might sit in your room all day and night watching Grey's on Netflix. Instead of going out, getting work or business done or being social, you rather sit in front of the computer and watch Grey's. Totally acceptable.

2. It's all you talk about.

It doesn't matter the topic or conversation, you'll somehow end up talking about Grey's and start comparing the show to just about everything.

3. Unrealistic Love

This show gives you unrealistic love stories that you know is impossible, but you feed off of it and makes you wish you found love like in the show.

4. The Couples

.

You either get happy or upset with the couples in the show. You know they are meant to be with one another, but it just doesn't go your way. Or you get so happy for the couple that you get jealous because you want the relationship they have. There's just no winning.

5. You think you're a doctor now.

Now you think you can clip aneurysm's, do a triple bi-pass surgery or remove gallbladders because you watched every episode of Grey's Anatomy. Just because you watched 12 seasons of Grey's in a row does not make you a doctor, trust me I tried.

6. Or you think you're a patient.

Just because you have a headache does not mean you have a brain bleed. And if your not feeling well its not because your dying. I'm very guilty of this.

7. There's more bad than good.

Just when things start to turn around and get better , and you start to thinking something good is going to happen..BAM! How to save a life by The Fray comes on and something bad happens.

8. Favorite Characters

From the beginning, you might have committed to having only one favorite character or multiple favorite characters. There are so many its hard to choose.

9. Deaths

Whether it's a patient or a doctor, there will always be a death in the show that will break your heart completely. I have a list of deaths that have completely shattered my heart.

10. Becoming emotionally unstable

This show, from season 1 up to season 12 will have you on an emotional roller coaster. Between the drama, love and deaths, you never know what to feel anymore.

11. Anticipation

Season 12 is over and now you don't know what to do with yourself. You're probably freaking out because now you have to wait for the next season to be aired on TV. You're also wondering what the next season is going to be about and how it will continue to ruin your life.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
