11 Reasons To Watch 'The Flash'

Are you itching for a new TV series to watch? Do you like superheroes? Look no further, because "The Flash" on The CW is the show for you. It is packed with action, romance, drama, and comedy, so you'll never get bored. Each episode will leave you wanting to watch the next.

1. Barry Allen, aka The Flash, is played by the amazingly handsome Grant Gustin.

You have seen him in "Glee," on a lifetime movie, and now he is the star of "The Flash."

2. Barry is constantly saving the day.

He speeds around the city saving people from all kinds of dangers. It doesn't matter how big or small the trouble is, he is there.

3. Barry isn't your typical hero.

Barry isn't the typical buff, manly-man, hero. He is quite dorky, nerdy, and has his own quirks about him.

4. The Flash is basically Arrow's BFF.

There are always Arrow references, crossovers, and guest appearances. Barry and Oliver are pretty much in a bromance. So if you love Arrow, you will most definitely love this one.

5. Barry has a sensitive side.

It isn't all saving lives and being famous for Barry. He truly cares about the people in his life and in his community.

6. The team that helps Barry is pretty amazing.

Gaining super speed can be quite a scary thing to process, but Barry has a team of scientists that double as his friends to help him through it.

7. The villains are pretty cool.

Take Grodd for example. He is a super intelligent gorilla that can speak to and control you through mind control.

8. Barry's multiple romances.

Who wouldn't want to date The Flash, or Barry Allen for that matter? He is smart, fast, clever, and oh so charming.

9. The characters know how to have a good time.

Once in a while, the team will leave S.T.A.R Labs to head over to the bars to have a little fun. Viewers can get a laugh out of their adventures as well.

10. The way Barry gains his powers.

Nothing like getting struck by lightning and waking up with super speed.

11. The logo is pretty cool.

What are you waiting for? Go watch it! Barry Allen and the gang await you. The first season is on Netflix!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
