11 Reasons To Love Disney
Disney Parks

Disney is all that I have known my whole life. From going to the actual park to watching all the movies and shows, I was basically raised on it. My first movie in theaters was The Tiger Movie. My first vacation was Disney World. Surprisingly this made me love it, not hate it. Here are just a few reasons why Disney is amazing, and why you should love it.

1. It teaches you about love.

Every girl has an image of her prince charming, thanks to Disney. But Disney isn’t just about happily ever after’s, it’s also about love for your family and friends. It teaches you to love your life no matter the circumstances.

2. Childhood forever.

Like Peter Pan, Disney makes you dream of staying a child forever. I mean, having to never study for finals, or pay bills does sound amazing.

3. It’s relatable, no matter your age.

Whether you are 5 years old or 25, you can always relate to Disney in every stage of your life. For every problem you go through, there is a Disney movie for it.

4. It gives you relationship “goals”.

I mean, come on, what girl doesn’t dream of her Prince Charming?

5. Dreams do come true.

Every Disney movie, a character overcomes a hardship for their dream to come true. It’s like Disney’s slogan. Even the founder of Disney had to overcome obstacles for his dream to come true.

6. The songs are amazing.

If you haven’t jammed out to Disney at least once in your life, you are missing out. It’s the best stress reliever ever.

7. The characters make the best Halloween costumes.

I think I was a different Disney princess every Halloween. My poor little brother had to be either the prince or another character from the same movie. We made the cutest Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle by the way *hair flip*.

8. The movies make for the best marathon days.

Almost everyone likes Disney movies, so they make for the best movies to watch with friends for sleepovers or movie marathon days. There are also so many that you definitely not run out of choices.

9. Disney World has the best food.

I’ve been blessed to be able to go to Disney a couple of times, and the food is actually really good for an amusement park. My two favorites were the ice cream and corn bread :)

10. Disney World also has the best rollercoasters.

Disney has rollercoasters for all ages. Whether you just want to ride on the Mad Tea Party or take an adventure on the Rock’n’Roller Coaster, which starts out at 60 mph, Disney has a variety of rides for everyone.

11. It makes you believe that you can become anything, even a mermaid.

When I was a little girl, Disney made me believe in myself. I had big hopes and dreams for what I could be when I was older, with my main goal becoming a mermaid.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
