For those of you who haven't heard of "Galentine's Day," it's a great holiday that will probably make your February ten times better. The term Galentine's Day originated from the amazing Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation. It's essentially a day (Feb. 13th to be exact) where gal pals far and wide leave their significant others at home and go out on the town for BFF fun. It's a day where "ladies celebrate ladies." There are so many reasons to love Galentine's Day. Here are a few in case you aren't convinced yet.
1. It's a chance to bond with your gal pals.
2. You get to sit and reminisce on great memories.
3. No one will judge you for being emotional (especially if you're single on V-Day).
4. You also won't be judged for your need for late night calories.
5. It's a day to feel empowered as a woman.
6. You get to go out and dance the night away.
7. Your girl friends don't care what you look like.
8. You have the perfect wingwoman when you see a hot guy.
9. You never stop laughing.
10. They aren't afraid to suck it up and take that shot with you (even if it's a bad idea).
11. They will always love you for you.
